The first annual, autumn ride, Tour de Vine is coming on October 17, 2015! Enjoy the autumn scenery as you and your friends cycle the back roads of southern Washington County, NY on this bucolic section of the Upper Hudson Valley Wine Trail.
Tour de Vine is a casual 20 mile, fully-supported ride through Easton township with stops at four vineyards for wine-tastings ending with a catered, gourmet post-tour lunch. The featured vineyards are Amorici Vineyard, Northern Cross Vineyard and Victory View Vineyard. Local vintners will personally pour tastings at each stop.
The tour is fully supported – ride leaders, course markings, mechanical & sag support, post-ride lunch at Amorici Vineyard, and scenic views are all included in your registration. Cheers!
Free wine samples will be offered on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the Greenwich Free Library from 2-6 pm. The vineyards and wineries of Washington County will be the subject of the library’s program. Grape growers and winemakers will be on hand to pour wine tastings and answer questions about their wines. Wine may be purchased by the glass or bottles may be purchased for home consumption. Admission is free.
